Raphael Gomes is a photographer and graphic designer, who was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He started to take Photography classes using 35mm film and darkroom development in 1997. Since then, it became a second nature, a hobby, a passion and a profession. He graduated in Marketing and Communication Science in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Graphic Design and Photography at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Raphael has over twenty years of experience in the field specialized in portraiture, fine art and promotional editorial photography. His attention to detail and lighting techniques are unique. He is also a very creative artist, directing and producing stunning photography art.
He is extremely passionate about classic movies, art and music, animals and nature. Additionally, he is a very bad guitar player, a decent cook, a good scuba diver and has a great friendly and humorous personality that will ensure a spontaneous laugh from his friends and clients.
